There are some things you never compromise on. Which is why every Silverado Chassis Cab delivers with a Duramax® 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8 engine paired with an Allison® transmission. An available Allison PTS transmission supports shuttle bus and nonconforming school bus applications, and an available locking rear axle provides added stability and improves off-road response.

• FORWARD-TILTING HOOD AND WHEEL CUT DESIGN

A wheel cut of up to 50 degrees allows easy maneuvering around tight jobsites. It also makes servicing easy when combined with the forward-tilting engine cover.

• ACCESSIBLE BATTERY BOX

An easy-to-reach battery box with an available auxiliary jump-start stud is located right below the driver side of the cab.

• DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID (DEF) FILL

The DEF fill is smartly positioned on the right fender behind the front wheel to keep fuel and DEF separate, allowing for easy fluid refills and the prevention of accidental mix-ups.
